Ladies,
During this critical time of our nation’s history, we find ourselves nervous, anxious, concerned, worried, and almost any other adjective that describes us right now. You know I am a long time admirer of Dr. Charles Stanley. His book, Turning the Tide, Real Hope, Real Change is full of practical information on how we arrived at this point in history, and where we go from here. At this pivotal time, I felt it necessary to do something different and bold. SO….I have secured the shelter at Brown Park on four separate Mondays to gather and energize each other before this election. Please bring a friend and come as you can to Brown Park in St Matthews on October 15, 22, 29 & November 5th at 6 PM…to celebrate America, ask God for His grace, and to embrace the future with hope!
I would suggest you obtain Dr. Stanley’s book for discussion, as it is exactly what we need prior to this decision making event in America. You will find it a worthwhile read! Below is the best place I’ve found to purchase the book for only 99 cents and $3.99 shipping for hardback. You might also check the library and Life Way Bookstore, but I doubt you’ll find it at this price.

The shelter holds about 30, so I hope we can fill it up on those evenings. It may be chilly….so bring a jacket and your dinner, if necessary….but make a statement that this is the most important election we have faced in decades…maybe a lifetime! I look forward to “the gathering” of like-minded women in October, and the evening before the election!
