Check it out for yourself!
By Theresa Camoriano
Almost every time I have been at an event personally, I have felt that the official reporting of the event was very inaccurate, if not dishonest, so I think it is wonderful now, with the Internet, to be able to witness events directly, without the spin and commentary from the so-called “experts”.
In the interest of giving you an opportunity to judge for yourself, I have compiled a page of links to the speeches from the Republican convention. I hope you will go there and check out the speeches you may have missed. Set aside the opinions of the talking heads and judge for yourself.
Watch speeches from people who have known Mitt Romney well for many years and who attest to his character. Do you believe them, or do you think they are lying or spinning?
Watch speeches from people of various races and see how they are received by the audience. Can you still believe the spin that conservatives are a bunch of bigots?
Get a good chuckle from Susana Martinez, the Governor of New Mexico or from Marco Rubio.
Watch Romney’s youngest son, Craig, address the crowd in Spanish.
Are these people sincere, or are they just presenting a false front?
Do you agree with their description of the American dream and their policy prescriptions to restore that dream?
I also encourage you to share this page of links with others and urge them to check out the speeches for themselves.
