A real public discussion on health care in Kentucky

The Louisville Courier Journal finally mentioned Wednesday the thrashing we gave the Frankfort political establishment on May 7 when more than 100 tea partiers crashed their secret little “public” discussion about ObamaCare in Kentucky.

Of course, it was just a snide editorial encouraging Governor Steve Beshear to ignore all the angry ObamaCare opponents and hurry up with the government takeover.

In the wake of that Monday protest, Governor Beshear cancelled plans for a series of such forums across the state. But the show must go on.

We never had the public discussion necessary to properly vet the government’s designs on our health care system, our freedoms, our money and our lives. So please make plans to join the  citizens’ Health Reform Road Show with the first stop Monday May 21 in Louisville.

The setting is the regular monthly meeting of Louisville’s 9/12 group at the Jeffersontown Public Library, 10635 Watterson Trail at 7:00 pm ET. If you can’t make this one, don’t worry. More events are being scheduled and will be announced soon. A Facebook event page for this first one has been set uphere.

Thanks for turning up the heat on this and thank you for all that you do.

Sincerely,

David Adams
