Industrial hemp alert from Sheri Quinn

Please call on this one almost daily over the next couple of weeks.  This is very important.

Support SB 41 and HB 286

Industrial Hemp is an issue that we have been following for some years now.  It is crucial that we have a viable agricultural crop to boost Kentucky’s flagging agricultural economy.

Basically it will help the Economy by growing jobs, create a

viable alternative Energy source, and is an Environmentally friendly plant. For those that need

more details about why we support industrial hemp please CLICK HERE for a write up on the

work that is being done legislatively, CLICK HERE for a basic overview of Industrial Hemp, and

CLICK HERE for a University of Kentucky Study on the matter. Primary Senate Sponsor: Senator

Joey Pendleton. Primary House Sponsor: Richard Henderson. Committees: Senate and House

Agriculture.
