January 14 Bennett Girls meeting to learn about party politics
Well, I was in for a real awakening today concerning the political process in Jefferson County and the State of Kentucky! I’m surprised any conservative candidate is elected! The ONLY way to make a change in this state, or help the Country, is to get involved locally, and work your way up. I got a crash course on how precincts work, and getting Precinct Captains, etc. The bottom line is: getting at least three people from each precinct to show up at the Republican designated meeting for the county, and try to challenge the existing Captain, to replace with a more conservative one…..if that need exists for that precinct. The process is controlled to a great extinct by the incumbent, so it is imperative to have more people show up at these designated meetings, if you ever want a change for your county!
I have asked a special speaker to explain the need, and what we can do as a group to change our election outcomes. Now is the time ladies to kick into gear and work to get the “conservative candidates” you want the Party to support! Phil Moffett would have been a supreme candidate, and would have probably won, had the State Republican backed him instead of Williams. He resonated with the people, but he didn’t get a chance to go up against Beshear…and Williams already had so much baggage, and dislike; it was basically lost before we got started. We cannot afford to continue this cycle.
PLEASE come and be educated, and learn how you can be instrumental in moving this county and state forward, instead of a continual decline. Bring any conservative friend who is interested in helping. You will understand better after the talk, WHY it is imperative we become involved! Nothing will ever change at the National level if we don’t start in our own back yard.
If any of you have experience in this process, please try to be at the meeting, so you can be another person answering questions. Having witnessed the “inner workings” is a major benefit, and the more who have inside “knowledge”, the better!
It would also be helpful if we have an idea what precincts our members cover, so below is a link that will tell you which precinct you live in, for voting purposes. Click on the second block, “Where do I vote”, then complete your address information, and it will give you the info. I am in precinct “G-157″ in St. Matthews. This is important information for down the road.

Send me your precinct number, and I can tally how many people we have where!
Our next meeting is January 14th, and we have lots to discuss. Please consider this one meeting you need to attend. We can make a change, for your children and grandchildren…I hope you will participate in giving them a brighter future because you choose to be involved!
