Gift
Gift – This is something that is voluntarily purchased by the giver and voluntarily accepted, often with gratitude, on the part of the recipient. Sometimes it is wrapped in fancy paper and adorned with ribbons and bows. Often, it is given as part of a birthday, Christmas, wedding, or other type of celebration. Nancy Pelosi has promised to make a “gift” of her government health care program to the American people, but this arrangement is not really a gift. If it were really a gift, then Nancy would be buying it with her own money, not forcing the American people to pay for it. Also, if it were really a gift, then the American people, the majority of whom do not want this program, would be free to say “no” and refuse to accept it. Maybe Nancy should use more appropriate language and say that her health care program is a government mandate, which she plans to force on the people, whether they want it or not, and whether she has to go through the gate, vault over the fence, or parachute in to deliver it!

The best gift is one that you can never repay. If you ever are fortunate to recieve such a gift be thankful as they are very rare.
