Mayberry letter re Obamacare
Obamacare! They did it for us, they said; but only in front of the propaganda cameras. Anonymous Democrats said the hard message received in private was “Save Obama’s presidency.” Right, save an inept president’s derriere even at our expense. Threats, cajoling, intimidation, buying and selling of votes and favors! The floor of the House of Representatives was turned into a prostitution auction.
Kentucky Republicans remained steadfastly faithful to the Constitution against the socialist onslaught, and were joined by an awfully brave Democrat, Ben Chandler, real American.
Representative Yarmuth told WHAS radio news that his motive for going to Washington was to enact health care legislation. Ha! He went to the Congress not to represent us, but to fulfill his own personal agenda. That he did while also helping pull Speaker Pelosi and President Obama, our first Marxist president, away from disaster’s brink; and he accomplished all that with no more expense than trampling the Constitution and sticking a virtual knife in the back of the protesting majority of his constituents.
Having achieved his objective he could quit the Congress and return to the fortunes of his own home health care business, but will he? In expressing his determination to vote for the health bill regardless of his constituents’ objection, he told Francene and her radio audience that if we didn’t like it, we could vote him out of office in November. Maybe he’ll wait for official payback.
